A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios short films with Donald Duck (c. 1940s). Featuring the main designs for Donald Duck in many different situations, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. These sheets with general designs were usually referenced for multiple productions during the time period. Measuring 11.5”x14.5” overall, with the character image measuring 10.5”x13”, the model sheet is in very good condition with notable discoloration, light edge wear, and staple holes.
