A ceramic planter inspired by the beloved Disney Studios character Mickey Mouse. Featuring Mickey next to a text bubble which reads "Hey kid, pick up your clothes," the planter was created in the 1950s by Evan K.Shaw Pottery. Through the 1940s and 1950s, the Evan K. Shaw Pottery company and its sister companies, Metlox and American Pottery, produced a wide range of ceramics. In 1943, they were granted approval as a licensee to produce a range of Disney characters. These companies are no longer in business, making their ceramics difficult to come by. Measuring 2.25"x6.5" and 5" tall, the planter is in very good condition with minor imperfections in the glaze.
